The CLEVNET Library Consortium

Established in 1982, the CLEVNET Consortium is a cooperative partnership between the Cleveland Public Library and 30 library systems throughout 9 counties in Northern Ohio. CLEVNET Libraries and their communities benefit from this partnership by taking advantage of reciprocal borrowing privileges, sharing a single computer system and network, cooperating to offer live online reference 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and by combining buying power to receive favorable pricing on online subscription databases. With combined holdings of over 2.6 million unique titles, over 10 million items, 1.3 million library card holders, and access to a wealth of online information, the CLEVNET system is one of the largest public library automation systems in the world.
