Try Something New Cookbook Club – It’s a different kind of book club for people who like to share food and conversation. Borrow the selected cookbook. Make a recipe and share it Monday, January 13 at 6:30 pm. We eat good food, talk about cookbooks and tell our stories. It is a wonderful time of sharing. In January we will be cooking from Cook’s “Revolutionary Recipes” – a cookbook packed with innovations and groundbreaking recipes.
Senior Center Book Club – Senior Center Book Club – meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 11:00 am at the Fairport Harbor Senior Center. Come join us for great reading and lively discussion. January 23 we will be discussing “This Tender Land” by William Krueger.
Let’s Talk Book Club – monthly on Mondays at 6:30 pm – a book club for readers and discussers – The Caldecott Medal is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children. For the past several years we have held our own Mock Caldecott discussion using ten books that have been lauded by reviewers through the year. For a complete set of books stop in or call to request a set from the library. Join us on January 27 at 6:30 pm. It’s harder than it looks and a lot of fun.
