Tote Bags for Teachers
The Library is happy to work with Fairport Harbor Teachers of all grades to help find them books for their students. We are offering Teachers Tote Bags of Books for their classes, which can be rotated as the curriculum changes. We will work with all reading levels and abilities.
Teachers can contact the Library by calling (440) 354-8191 or by emailing us at askus@fairport.lib.oh.us.
Student Library Cards
If one of your students needs a library card, they may have a parent fill out and sign this form and bring it with ID to the library.
If a student is unable to get a parent signature or show ID they may apply online for a student opportunity card allowing them to borrow 3 books at a time.
Teacher Library Cards
Teachers can obtain a separate library card to check out Fairport Harbor Public Library materials intended for classroom use. This card may be kept on file at the library.

With the Fairport Harbor Public Library Teacher library card, educators may check out up to 50 items and place up to 75 library materials on hold. These cards allow a 3 week loan on most materials and potentially up to 5 auto-renewals.
Most Fairport Harbor Public Library items are not subject to overdue fines, but card holders will be billed for lost or damaged items; cards will be blocked at the bill threshold of $10.00 / 10 overdue items. Materials borrowed from other libraries in the CLEVNET system are subject to the lending/fine policies of the originating library.
