Welcome to Summer Reading 2026! Summer Reading programing will be from June 1- July 2. Please click here to register.
Registration will enter the child participants in weekly drawings for gift cards to Fairport Harbor businesses. It will also put you on the email list to be alerted to the summer reading events happening each week of summer reading. Additional drawing entries can be earned through completing the weekly reading challenge of 100 minutes per week and checking out books.
There are goody bags for the first 75 children who register for summer reading. In the bag is a sheet to track your time reading. Win a prize from the prize box for every 100 minutes of reading! Children can also win prizes for checking out books, returning books and attending programming.
Children between the ages of 9 and 13 are required to have a permission slip on file with the library if they will be in the library without an adult present. Children 8 and under MUST have a responsible adult with them in the library.
Space in our programming room is limited, so registration for the individual programs shown below is REQUIRED. Go to the calendar page to register for the events described below.
