Registration begins May 31 for the 2023 Fairport Harbor Summer Library Celebration which runs from June 5 to July 29.
The celebration will involve the entire community and all library users. Earn prizes by visiting the library, attending programs, and borrowing materials. All adults, teens, and children will receive a free gift just for registering. Child and teen participants will receive a new book for their home library at the end of the summer ice cream social.
The summer will kick off with a community art & craft fair and book sale on June 10 from 9am to 3pm.
Young readers can practice their reading skills with therapy dogs at the library, attend art club, story time, a teddy-bear picnic, bubble party, and many other activities.
Teens will want to join us for our weekly anime club, cardboard castle building, pens & swords TTRPG, a painting project, chess club, chalk party, and overnight lock-in.
Adults are having fun in the library this summer as well. Sandcastle building, an author visit, book groups, writers’ group, knitting group, history discussions, chess club, and other events are planned for adults this summer.
